The Department has reached a Tentative Determination to issue a Permit to Construct for the Installation of
one (1) crushing and screening plant. The proposed installation will be located at 1079 Belvidere Road, Port Deposit, MD 21904. The Public Notice with information for requesting a public hearing and/or to submit comments can be found here. Docket # 16-20 has been updated to include the Tentative Determination and Draft Permit Conditions. It may be reviewed here. The last date to request a public hearing is 2/23/2021. The last date to submit formal comments is 03/05/2021.

Laurel Sand and Gravel- Laurel Hill Quarry
The Department has reached a Tentative Determination to issue a Permit to Construct for the installation of one (1) primary stone crushing and screening plant rated at
1,200 tons per hour, powered by electricity, and one (1) secondary finishing
plant rated at 1,000 tons per hour, powered by electricity. The proposed installation wil be located at 10642
Woodsboro Rd, Woodsboro, MD 21798. The Public Notice with information for requesting a public hearing and/or submit comments can be found here. Docket #11-20 has been updated with the Tentative Determination and Draft Permit Conditions. It may be viewed here. The last date to request a public hearing is March 1, 2021. The last date to submit comments is March 11, 2021. Bioenergy Devco, LLC/ MORF 1, LLC
The Maryland Department of the Environment, Air and
Radiation Administration (ARA) received a permit-to-construct application from Bioenergy
Devco, LLC / MORF 1, LLC (a.k.a., Maryland Food Center Authority - Anaerobic
Digestion Facility) on September 14, 2020 to construct an anaerobic digestion
facility consisting of: one (1) renewable natural gas (RNG) fired combined heat &
power (CHP) internal combustion engine for electrical generation; three (3)
RNG-fired boilers; one (1) biogas-fired backup flare; and one (1) regenerative
thermal oxidizer. A revised application was received at the ARA on January 19,
2021. The proposed installation will be
located at 7900 Oceano Avenue, Jessup, MD, 21794, in Howard County.
