Building Energy Performance Standards (BEPS)

If you own a commercial or multifamily building that is 35,000 square feet or larger in Maryland, you’ll need to take action under the Building Energy Performance Standards, which includes submitting an annual benchmarking report. You may need to make building improvements over time to meet performance standards in the 2030s. For more details, review the Program Overview
