Who are our Non-Government Partners?
MDE calls upon Maryland citizens, business owners, faith communities, homeowner associations, and all other groups and individuals who are invested in the Chesapeake to help with local Bay cleanup. While it may seem like your personal impact on the bay is slight, the cumulative impacts of 18+ million people living in the Chesapeake's watershed are significant.
By taking small steps to reduce our personal impacts on the Chesapeake, we can collectively make a difference and improve the health of our Bay and improve the quality of our communities. Check out the resources below to learn more about what steps you can take to reduce your environmental impact and what local Chesapeake Bay cleanup opportunities are near you.
