Maryland Lead Poisoning Prevention Commission

The Maryland Lead Poisoning Prevention Commission was established under state law in 1994 to evaluate and strengthen efforts to protect children and families from lead exposure. T​he Commission reviews the effectiveness of Maryland’s Lead Poisoning Prevention Program and explores issues such as liability, insurance a​vailability, and best practices in lead risk reduction.

The Commission is made up of 19 members serving four-year terms. Seventeen members, including the Chair, are appointed by the Governor. One member is appointed by the President of the Maryland Senate and one by the Speaker of the House.

Blue Lot – General Parking

Enter via Washington Boulevard using the left lane for the call button. Walk through the pedestrian tunnel and use the call box to gain access.

Red Lot – Limited Use
