Scientific and Technical Work Group

The members of each working group are appointed by the Commission Chair, and embody both the public and private interests in climate change to ensure a well-balanced direction and broad expertise.

The Scientific and Technical Work Group (STWG) is responsible for updating and informing the MCCC on the science of climate change. For additional details on recent and planned activities, please see the group's Work Plans or past meeting materials posted on this page.


The STWG meets quarterly. Meetings are open to the public.
