What are Two-Year Milestones?

Milestones are near-term commitments that ensure incremental progress toward having all necessary pollution reduction actions in place by 2025. Maryland’s two-year milestones are part of an accountability framework (leaving MDE) for ensuring results in the Chesapeake Bay.
