Board of Waterworks and Waste System Operators

08/09/2021

The Board of Waterworks and Waste Systems Operators has extended the deadline for renewal late fees until August 15, 2021.

As a result of the termination of the Governor's Executive Order which administratively extended renewal certifications during the declared state of emergency, MDE received hundreds of applications and fees in a very short period of time. WWSO Board staff have been processing renewal certifications to the best of our ability, along with answering a record number calls and emails on a daily basis; we apologize for delays in processing. The list of Active Certified Operators is meant to be the official Board statement on any particular certification status, even if a certificate has not yet been received by mail. The Active Certified Operators list is updated weekly.

NEW—RENEWAL APPLICATIONS RECEIVED

This list indicates renewal applications and fees that have been received by the Board and await processing. This list includes applications received prior to the termination date of June 30, 2021 for the administrative extension as well as certificates to be routinely renewed on or after July 1, 2021. All Operators for whom we have received renewal applications and fees are considered to be provisionally active and in good standing at this time. This list will be updated weekly until further notice routine processing times are resumed.
