This site is a 1.3 acre forested wetland created from an old field.  It is located within the Pocomoke River - Lower Pocomoke River - Area (02-13-02-02) watershed of Worcester County.

The Maryland Department of the Environment and the Worcester Soil Conservation District constructed and planted this site between Summer 1995 and Spring 1996.

While this site has a fair amount of open water and canals, it is an interesting wetland and contains a large amount of Buttonbush.

This project is on private property.
