Final National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Electronic Reporting Rule

NetDMR

NetDMR is a national tool that allows facilities permitted under the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program developed by the U.S. EPA to electronically submit discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) via the Internet. Federal regulations at 40 CFR 122.41 and 403.12 require permittees to submit DMRs electronically.  Maryland permittees use NetDMR for this purpose.  Click here to go to the NetDMR homepage.

Permittees create accounts in NetDMR, and use NetDMR to submit DMRs and many other types of reports required by permits.  NetDMR, like ICIS, is a national system maintained by EPA.  Data entered in NetDMR are sent automatically from NetDMR to ICIS.  The Compliance Program also enters ICIS information about its inspections and enforcement actions regarding NPDES permittees.  The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency makes ICIS information available to the public through its Enforcement and Compliance History Online (ECHO) system, available here.
