We Want to Know What You Think

Smart, Green & Growing is a new initiative of the O'Malley/Brown Administration designed to help us create a more sustainable future for our State. Our goal is to involve every Marylander in reducing our carbon footprint, preserving our most valuable resource lands, and restoring the health of the Chesapeake Bay.

As you may know, the State of Maryland is projecting a population increase of approximately 1 million more residents by the year 2030. This predicted growth will bring new jobs to our region but also impact our transportation systems, energy use, housing needs, land development, and natural resources.

With this in mind, we'd like to find out how you think Maryland is doing when it comes to growing and planning for the future, while at the same time protecting the environment and our quality of life.
