Chris Carski, of the Water Management Administration, for his extensive work in coordinating Maryland’s Drinking Water Needs Survey, which the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency uses to allocate funding to the states, and which directly resulted in Maryland receiving a substantial increase in its share of federal funding for the next four years.

Jack Bowen, of the Water Management Administration, for his expertise in enforcement, compliance, and environmental regulation, and in particular his efforts to improve policies and implement a standard operating procedure regarding timeliness of enforcement actions.

Beverly Archable, of the Water Management Administration, for her hard work and outstanding productivity in the administration of eight general discharge permits, which she achieved through conscientious planning and flexibility in responding to changing program needs.

Tracy Smith, of the Land Management Administration’s Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, for her diligence as manager of grants and contracts, and for hard work to ensure that the administrative process runs efficiently and effectively.
