- Notice of public hearing/comment period concerning the following proposed action: 2023 Interim Update of Water Quality Standards [Regulation Corrections to COMAR 26.08.02.03-2]
The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) is currently conducting an Interim Update to Water Quality Standards to correct technical errors in COMAR 26.08.02.03-2. MDE will publish a notice of proposed action for the 2023 Interim Update in the November 17, 2023 issue of the Maryland Register. The public comment period will be open from November 17, 2023 to December 22, 2023. - Notice of public listening sessions and comment period concerning the following proposed action: Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Nontidal Wetlands COMAR 26.23.01 through 26.23.05, with a focus on the nontidal wetland mitigation regulations.
The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) published an Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) in the September 19, 2025 Maryland Register. The public comment period will be open until December 18, 2025.
