Smoking Vehicle Notification Form

Please let us know if you see a vehicle with excessive emissions. Excessive emissions usually indicate a problem with the vehicle’s powertrain or exhaust system and have negative impacts on air quality and vehicle operation. The Department of the Environment will contact the vehicle owner to inform them that we received a complaint regarding visible emission and allow them to make the necessary corrections.

All fields are optional, but without a means of identifying the vehicle, we cannot contact the owner. In general, a vehicle tag number is necessary to determine the vehicle owner.

*Contact information will be kept confidential and will not be used in correspondence with vehicle owners. The Department of the Environment will contact you for more information, if required.
