eMDE is a quarterly publication of the Maryland Department of the Environment. It covers articles on current environmental issues and events in the state. 

 

Paul Kazyak of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources won the 2011 James B. Coulter Award. Mr. Kazyak played a key role in the development and implementation of DNR’s Maryland Biological Stream Survey and also formed the Boy Scouts of America Venturing Crew 202, which educates high school students in environmental science
