eMDE is a monthly publication of the Maryland Department of the Environment. It covers articles on current environmental issues and events in the state. Additional monthly features include: MDE public meetings and hearings schedule, enforcement and compliance notes, and permitting activity.
With registration laws now in effect, MDE works to keep computer monitors out of the waste stream, and encourages manufacturers to run free computer-recycling programs.
Financial assistance is available to local governments and municipalities across the state to upgrade the quality of water discharging to the Bay.
