BALTIMORE, MD (April 9, 2013) - The Maryland Green Registry is now accepting applications for the 2013 annual Maryland Green Registry Leadership Awards. Interested organizations should submit an application highlighting the environmental projects or practices described in their online member profile and the results achieved, as well as information about their organization's commitment to continual improvement in sustainable operations. The Registry is a free program that assists businesses and other organizations by promoting and recognizing their sustainable practices. Collectively, Registry members have saved more than $63 million annually through their sustainable practices.

The 2013 Maryland Green Registry Leadership Award winners will be announced at the annual awards and membership event June 11 at The Westin Annapolis.
