The Maryland Department of the Environment is hosting the Clean Water Innovations Trade Show to bring businesses together with local governments, developers and other stakeholders to find cost-effective, innovative and efficient ways to reduce polluted stormwater runoff and improve water quality in local waterways and the Chesapeake Bay. At this event, Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Brown will also present the 2012 Smart, Green and Growing Sustainable Infrastructure and Innovation in Stormwater Management Award.

Lieutenant Governor Anthony G. Brown; MDE Secretary Robert M. Summers; approximately 300 representatives from federal, state and local agencies; stakeholder groups; and water quality businesses. The tradeshow will feature 40 exhibitors specializing in environmentally-friendly clean water business solutions.
