BALTIMORE, MD (November 13, 2006) - The Chesapeake Bay Watershed Restoration Fund Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 1 p.m. in the Aqua and Terra Conference Rooms at the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.
Among agenda items to be discussed that day are a Bay Restoration Fund Status Report, updates on Enhanced Nutrient Removal implementation, upcoming events and fees collected to date. The advisory committee will also be briefed about the reduction of nitrogen loads from atmospheric emissions, a Best Available Technology Workshop and the Onsite Septic Disposal System Geographic Information System.
The committee advises the secretary of the environment on issues related to the Bay Restoration Fund, the landmark environmental legislation proposed by Governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. and enacted by the General Assembly.
