BALTIMORE, MD (February 14, 2006) – The Chesapeake Bay Watershed Restoration Fund Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting on Thursday, February 23 at 1 p.m. in the Aqua and Aeris Conference Rooms at the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.
The committee advises the secretary of the environment on issues related to the Bay Restoration Fund, the landmark environmental legislation proposed by Governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. and enacted by the General Assembly.
Among agenda items to be discussed that day are a legislative update, progress in the cover crops portion of the program and discussion of on-site sewage disposal systems proposals and outreach materials.
