BALTIMORE, MD (November 29, 2005) – The Chesapeake Bay Watershed Restoration Fund Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting on Monday, December 5 at 1 p.m. in the Aqua and Aeris Conference Rooms at the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.
The committee advises the secretary of the environment on issues related to the Bay Restoration Fund, the landmark environmental legislation proposed by Governor Ehrlich and enacted by the General Assembly.
Among agenda items to be discussed that day are an update on Enhanced Nutrient Removal (ENR) implementation and upcoming events, update on fees collected to date, presentations on the onsite sewage disposal system and cover crop portions of the program, and discussion of the revised draft of the January 2006 Interim Progress Report.
