BALTIMORE, MD (December 30, 2004) -- The Chesapeake Bay Watershed Restoration Fund Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting next Thursday, Jan. 6 from 1- 4:30 p.m. in the Aeris Conference Room at the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.

The committee, chaired by Robert Warfield, advises the Secretary of the Department of the Environment on issues related to the Bay Restoration Fund, the landmark environmental legislation proposed by Governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. and enacted by the General Assembly earlier this year.

Among agenda items to be discussed that day are methods of collecting fees from on-site sewage disposal system users, discussions with federal facilities regarding the fee and the fund’s implementation plan.
