HAGERSTOWN, MD (January 13, 2004) -- The Maryland Department of the Environment's (MDE) Western Maryland Field Office has moved to a new location in downtown Hagerstown. MDE’s western regional office is now located on the third floor of the Chevy Chase Bank building across from the U. S. Post Office. Personnel at the Hagerstown Office provide environmental permitting and compliance expertise for Allegany, Carroll, Frederick, Garrett, Montgomery and Washington counties.
