BALTIMORE, MD (July 6, 2001) -- The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) will hold a public hearing regarding a state discharge permit application to discharge domestic wastewater from the Francis Scott Key High School in Carroll County on July 19, 2001, at 7 p.m. at Francis Scott Key High School, 3825 Bark Hill Road, Union Bridge.

The Carroll County Department of Public Works is seeking a permit to discharge domestic wastewater from the school’s wastewater treatment plant to groundwater beneath an overflow forest area and to a forested nontidal wetland of an unnamed tributary of Wolf Pit Branch.
