Main_Content
The following Clean Air Progress Reports demonstrate the positive progress the state of Maryland has made in bettering air quality for the public and our environment. Maryland's pursuit of developing nationwide-leading air quality regulations and programs have helped the state to meet both National Ambient Air Quality Standards and the state's ambitious climate change goals. The Department's climate change program is leading the state's efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while creating jobs and benefiting the economy. Maryland has set the most aggressive emissions reduction goals in the nation.
Clean air matters to Maryland, our neighboring states and the Chesapeake Bay, and that is why we are committed to a course of air quality improvements.
