MDE continues to operate and remain open for business while Maryland is in a state of emergency due to the coronavirus. During this time the Water and Science Administration (WSA) is working hard to continue meeting all permit and approval timeframes. Consistent with Governor Hogan’s March 5
to control and prevent the spread of COVID19, some permits and approvals may be delayed beyond legal timeframes.
WSA staff are continually evaluating permit and approval timeframes that may be delayed with efforts to reduce the spread of COVID19 and maintain social distancing requirements. To ensure transparency and the best possible customer service, please continue to check the public notices on this page for information on which WSA permits could be affected. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. Stay healthy!
