Introduction

This project includes a 3.5 acre emergent nontidal wetland restoration located in the Little Gunpowder Fall watershed (02130804) of Baltimore County. 


Construction

The Maryland Department of the Environment, in conjunction with the Baltimore County Soil Conservation District, the contractor and the landowner, constructed this wetland in spring 2011.  The site was previously agricultural land.
