Introduction

This site is a 5 acre nontidal wetland restoration located in the Isle of Wight watershed (02130103) watershed of Worchester County. 


Construction

The Maryland Department of the Environment, in conjunction with the Coastal Bays Program and the Worchester County Soil Conservation District, restored this wetland through minor grading in summer 2009 and planting in fall 2009/spring 2010. The site was previously an abandoned farm.
