Twentieth Auction, June 5, 2013:
To support the state CO2 Budget Trading Program, the RGGI Participating States have implemented a regional auction platform to sell CO2 allowances. The twentieth auction of CO2 allowances by the RGGI Participating States will be held on June 5, 2013.

Nineteenth Auction, March 13, 2013:
On March 13, 2013, Maryland, as a participating state, sold 9,579,963 allowances for vintage year 2013 in the nineteenth auction of CO2 allowances. (See RGGI Press Release.)

Eighteenth Auction, December 5, 2012:
On December 5, 2012, Maryland, as a participating state, sold 5,011,529 allowances for vintage year 2012 in the eighteenth auction of CO2 allowances. (See RGGI Press Release.)

Seventeenth Auction, September 5, 2012:
On September 5, 2012, Maryland, as a participating state, sold 6,222,230 allowances for vintage year 2012 in the seventeenth auction of CO2 allowances. (See RGGI Press Release.)

Sixteenth Auction, June 6, 2012:
On June 6, 2012, Maryland, as a participating state, sold 4,458,850 allowances for vintage year 2012 in the sixteenth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release.)

Fifteenth Auction, March 14, 2012:
On March 14, 2012, Maryland, as a participating state, sold 4,410,931 allowances for vintage year 2012 in the fifteenth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release.)

Fourteenth Auction, December 7, 2011:
On December 7, 2011, Maryland, as a participating state, sold 5,669,520 allowances for vintage year 2011 in the fourteenth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release.)

Thirteenth Auction, September 7, 2011: 
On September 7, 2011, Maryland, as a participating state, sold 1,336,077 allowances for vintage year 2011 in the thirteenth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release.)

Twelfth Auction, June 8, 2011:
On June 8, 2011, Maryland, as a participating state, offered 2,245,541 allowances for vintage year 2011 and 190,346 allowances for vitage year 2013 for sale in the twelfth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release).

Eleventh Auction, March 9, 2011:
On March 9, 2011, Maryland, as a participating state, offered 7,528,873 allowances for vintage year 2011 and 376,444 allowances for vintage year 2013 for sale in the eleventh auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release).

Tenth Auction, December 1, 2010:
On December 1, 2010, Maryland, as a participating state, offered 4,316,922 allowances for vintage year 2010, and 206,358 allowances for vintage year 2013 for sale in the tenth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release.)

On September 10, 2010, Maryland, as a participating state, offered 5,618,334 allowances for vintage year 2010, and 231,008 allowances for vintage year 2013 for sale in the ninth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release.)

On June 9, 2010, Maryland, as a participating state, offered 7,528,873 allowances for vintage year 2010, and 376,444 allowances for vintage year 2013 for sale in the eighth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release.)

Seventh Auction, March 10, 2010:
On March 10, 2010, Maryland, as a participating state, offered 7,878,873 allowances for vintage year 2010, and 368,169 allowances for vintage year 2013 for sale in the seventh auction of CO2 allowances. (See RGGI Press Release.)

Early Reduction CO2 Allowances (ERAs), December 18, 2009:
The states participating in RGGI have awarded 2,422,408 ERAs.  Maryland, as a participating state, awarded 217,703 ERAs.  This is a one-time award.  18 CO2 budget sources were awarded ERAs.  The total number of ERAs awarded is equivalent to 0.4% of the regional CO2 emissions budget during the first three-year compliance period (2009-2011).  (See RGGI Press Release.)

Sixth Auction, December 2, 2009:
On December 2, 2009, Maryland, as a participating state, offered 5,331,782 allowances for vintage year 2009, and 294.317 allowances for vintage year 2012 for sale in the sixth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release.)

Fifth Auction, September 9, 2009:
On September 9, 2009, Maryland, as a participating state, offered 5,331,782 allowances for vintage year 2009, and 399,884 allowances for vintage year 2012 for sale in the fifth auction of CO2 allowances.  (See RGGI Press Release.)
